Description of the Ministry
Calvary Chapel's college ministry, Refinery, is a group of "college age" (high school graduates through thirty year olds) people that desire to be both defined by Jesus and refined by Jesus for His glory and mission. We believe that Jesus is the answer to our search for meaning and purpose in this life. He is the only one that is worthy of our worship and worthy of our lives. Our vision is to have an environment where college age students can grow in their relationship with God through times of worship (both in Word and in song) and through outside fellowship events. At our weekly gatherings you can expect to come and hear the Word of God taught, be given an opportunity to worship God in song and in prayer, and connect with other college age students through fellowship...oh yeah, plus there's food!
Meeting Times and Locations
Refinery meets Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm in the High School Room (upstairs in the main building) at Calvary Chapel Modesto.
